感想をいただきましたので、紹介します。

Sports Day

What an interesting day! It was the first time that I’ve been to a sports day at a Japanese school. Luckily it didn’t rain and the weather was very nice. At German schools we got similar sports festivals, but it’s all about track and field. The students are not divided up into teams and they don’t have to prepare the festival. The tamaire game was totally new to me, I’ve never seen this game before. I was impressed by the dance performances, the costumes you made and the big paintings you did. It was nice to see that the whole school came together and that the students were part of organizing such a big event. In the end it was all very emotional and I hope that you had a great day.

Ibarakinishi High School Sports Day!

The sports day at Ibarakinishi High School was amazing! I enjoyed all the games especially the clubs relay and the group dance. The students spent so much time to prepare for this event, the group dance was the result of teamwork and efforts! When I was a high school student in Canada, we didn’t have a sports day at my school. Sports day in Japan is so colorful and festive! I was very impressed and touched!
